Alexandria DeJoy lives and creates in Fort Collins, Colorado. She graduated from The University of Northern Colorado, with a Bachelor's degree in Art & Design with an emphasis in Painting, Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship, and minor in Psychology.
She works in a variety of mediums, favorites include acrylic and mixed media paintings, watercolor, and silk painting. Alexandria also hand-fabricates jewelry using metalsmithing techniques, and is self-taught in glass lampworking.
Alexandria grew up in a rural mountain region in Colorado, and draws inspiration from her lifelong love and appreciation for nature. She aims to illustrate comparisons between natural phenomena and the human experience.
